Affiliate Marketing as a Back-End Marketing Strategy

by | Oct 16, 2009 | Marketing & Selling

Even if you only have one product, you can still use back-end marketing to your advantage. Here’s how:

1. Sign up as an affiliate for products that people who buy your product might also be interested in.

2. Place an ad for one or two of those products on your thank you and download pages. This can be a very powerful strategy for once people purchase and still has their wallet out, they are more likely to purchase again.

3. Include emails promoting those products in your purchaser autoresponder follow up sequence. You do have an autoresponder follow up drip sequence, don’t you? This is one way to help fill it up. Just be careful to also include good quality content, too.

4. Review these products and post your balanced reviews on your blog, include them in your e-zine and post them to article directories. This isn’t strictly back-end, but it does enhance your marketing funnel, so I thought I’d include it here.
