“Self-esteem is made up primarily of two things:
feeling lovable and feeling capable.”
~ Jack Canfield
Many of the exercises I’ve posted for this Celebrate You! 2015 challenge were created to help you feel lovable. Remember the assignment on Day 9? You sent yourself an appreciation letter in the mail. By now, you should have received it.
Today’s Journal Exercise:
When you got that card or letter in the mail, how did it feel? Did you open it and read it? If not, get it out and read it now. How do your words of appreciation to yourself feel? Do you accept them and embrace them? Or do you experience resistance, like this is just a silly exercise that wasn’t worth the stamp? Journal about your experience of receiving your letter. If you experienced resistance to it, journal about that and why you think you felt that way.
Daily Challenge:
Share the insights you gained from the exercise in the Facebook group and/or in a comment below. Feeling bold? Include a selfie of you with your letter and be sure to include the #CelebrateYou hashtag.
