Did you know that many people skip the sales letter and go right to the P.S. at the end? This is why PS’s are so powerful! The best way to use a P.S. to greatest effect is to
- Spur immediate action:
“But hurry, this offer won’t last long!”
- Recap your bonus or offer:
“Remember, I’m giving you $500 is bonus CDs!”
- Reiterate your guarantee:
“I take all the risk — you have 30 days to make your decision.”
- Provide a “lift note”:
“Click here if you’ve decided not to buy.”
There are other things you can do with a P.S., but these are probably the most effective.
Special Note: You want to stick with 1 or 3 P.S.s. And, if you have three, make the second one your strongest.
