Weekday Wisdom Episode 55

All work and no play makes you a really dull person.

Do you make time for fun?

Today, we’re going to do a deeper dive into question number 15 from the quiz I gave you back in Episode 40. And question number 15 is:

I’m busy, but I find time to do the things I want to do. True or false?

Now, if you watched yesterday’s video, you’d know that I do find time to fit in stuff I want to do. And yes I am insanely busy.

This is especially true of someone who’s doing a side hustle like I am right now. You’ve got your full-time job. You’ve got the commute time. And then you’re trying to do your side hustle. And if you’re really lucky you’ve got a family. I’ve just got a husband. Oh, and then what about pets? If you’ve got a dog, there’s the whole walking the dog thing you’ve got to fit in.

Life can get really busy, especially in today’s day and age. On top of what I just mentioned, we’ve got all that Facebooking, and the Twittering, and the Instagraming. We’re so connected to our phones!

Life can seem so chaotically busy that it’s easy to become a workaholic. Believe me, I’ve had those moments. Although, frankly, I think the time when I was the most workaholic was when I was the most unhappy. But that is another story.

The key thing is to create balance. Yes, you have concentrated time where you get stuff done, but also you need have time to like kick back, relax, have fun. Woohoo! Do things you love to do. That’s what recharges your battery so that you have the energy to go, go, go, go, and get your business done.

Yes, I acknowledge the fact that we are all busy. However, it is so important for your mental and your physical health to find time to do the things you not only want to do but that you love to do.

So, are we having fun yet?

Remember this:
Don’t box yourself in. Think outside that box,!
Spread your wings and fly.
Because of you — yes you, you right there — are capable of more than you know.

I know this. I see you. I see what you’re capable of. I really do. Even though I don’t even know who you are.

Please post a comment below If you liked this video, please go to YouTube and like it for me. Would you do that for me, please? I want to get my video views up.

Also, comment below because comments on YouTube, on Facebook, on Twitter, and of course on my blog, are all really helpful to me. Why? Because they help me know that you’re actually watching. But more importantly, they help me to know where you’re coming from. Then I can come up with more ideas of how to help you. My goal here is not for me to just sit here and chat on video. I mean, I’ve got better things to do. Seriously. No, my goal here is to provide you with value so that you’re looking forward to the Weekday Wisdom, that it gives you something that helps you move forward in your life. And I can really only do that if you talk to me and comment below with your questions.

Take care. Live your life the way you want to. And I’ll see you in the next episode.
