What this quote means to entrepreneurial authors:
Have you ever given into temptation?

If you said no, I hope that little old lady from The Princess Bride haunts you at night with her cry of “Liar! Liar!”

We’ve all indulged at least once in our lives. And that’s OK … sometimes temptation isn’t bad. That is when it doesn’t knock us off our paths, derail us from our goals or make us lose sight of your vision.

For example, let’s say your goal is release some weight. Giving into the temptation of one small piece of chocolate is OK. But, giving into the temptation to eat half a box of them … not so much.

This is where self-respect comes in. When you respect yourself, your vision and your goals, you will say no to temptations that lead you astray. And, as you become better at saying no to temptations that are off your path, you sense of self-worth, self-love and dignity will grow.

This is one way to own your awesome. When something juicy tempts you, ask yourself, “What would my awesome do?”
