“All major religious traditions carry basically the same message,
that is love, compassion and forgiveness
the important thing is they should be part of our daily lives.”
~ Dalai Lama
What this quote means to women entrepreneurs:
December is a month filled with holy celebrations, gatherings of family and friends, shopping, giving to charity and a general outpouring of love, compassion and forgiveness. But, as the Dalai Lama said, these things shouldn’t just be reserved for today, this week or this month. They should be practices we keep in our daily lives.
When we can express love, compassion and forgiveness in all eight facets of our lives:
- Our finances,
- Our businesses,
- Our health and well being,
- Our environments,
- Our social lives,
- Our sense of fun,
- Our mind,
- and out spiritual growth
we can achieve so much more peace, prosperity and passion in our lives.
Expressing love means we give generously and avoid such harsh feelings as hate. Expressing compassion means we reserve pre-judgement and honor the paths others have taken, even if we don’t agree with them. And finally, expressing forgiveness means we release anything and everything that does not serve our highest good.
As the year comes to a close, and we gather those we love around us, I wish you a holiday season filled with love, compassion and forgiveness for yourself and all those within your circle of influence.
