Power Thought: Step out of your comfort zone

whatspossible“To uncover what’s possible, abandon what’s comfortable.”
– Babcock Jenkins advertisement

What this quotes means to business:
I saw today’s quote in an advertisement and immediately knew it was a power thought I needed to share with you today. Albert Einstein defined insanity as doing the same things but expecting different results. This means, in order to be sane … and to get the results you are looking for … you need to do things differently.

Sometimes, in life and in business, we need to step out of our comfort zone … “abandon what’s comfortable” … in order to see the possibilities that have been before us all along, as well as to get the results we’ve been striving for and not achieving.

Interestingly enough, you don’t necessarily need to do something obvious. For example, change up your morning routine and you may find that you’ll uncover a better way to market your business. Improve your eating habits and you may discover your personal relationships improving.

The key is to do something positively different, something that moves you in a good direction, and this change will affect not only the area of your life that is obviously connected to the change, but also areas that are tangentially connected in ways you had no idea.

I’ve been putting this into practice for the past two years and it has been a wild ride. I spend a lot of time facing fears and doing it anyway, but I’ve also experienced better health, stronger friendships, improved business and more.

So abandon your comfortable and be open to what is truly possible for you in your life and in your business. It is out there waiting for you.
