What This Quote Means to Business:
All of us have been given gifts, gifts that empower us to walk our own unique life paths. Since you are a creative entrepreneur, I know for a fact that some of your gifts include intelligence, creativity and a unique vision for how those two gifts express themselves in the world through you.

I’ve often been caught saying to someone, “You’ve got brains, use them!” Some people take offense to that, but they misunderstand. What I’m saying is not a put down, but an affirmation of that individual’s intelligence and an exasperation that they are ignoring one of their most powerful gifts.

But I understand that many people, especially women, are often beaten down in life and encouraged to believe that they aren’t so smart. And that really pisses me off.

Don’t ever listen to anyone who says you aren’t good enough, you aren’t smart enough, etc. If there is a will, there is a way … within reason. Listen to how they are saying what they are saying. What is the underlying emotion behind the words? Are they trying to keep you in your place so you don’t leave them in the dust? Or are they trying to protect you from being unrealistic? You be the judge.

So, take stock of your assets. You have many, only a few of them include brains in your head and feet in your shoes. Your natural born and developed assets are the key to your unique brand of success in life. Follow your life’s path and you will know prosperity.
