The problem is, creating products and services can seem like such a large, daunting, overwhelming task that many people don’t even get started. Or, if they start, they get lost along the way, leading them to disappointment and, often, giving up altogether.
Don’t be another statistic!
According to research by the University of Scranton, 92 percent New Year’s goals fail by January 15. And, of the 20 percent of the population with set goals, roughly 70 percent fail to achieve them. And that’s just the statistics for goals in general — I couldn’t find any regarding people whose goal is to create a product or service.
But it doesn’t have to be that way! Writing down your goals and creating a plan to achieve them drastically improves your chances of achieving what you’ve set out to do. And, if you can ask yourself the right questions before you get started on your Product Creation Hero’s Journey, you are much more likely to not only reach that coveted goal but also get it closer to right your first attempt.
