Celebrate You! Daily Quote:
“I have found that if you love life, life will love you back.”
~ Arthur Rubinstein
Yesterday, Day 13 of the 31-Day Celebrate You! Challenge, I celebrated being open to abundance and prosperity.
“Abundance is not something we acquire. It is something we tune into.” ~ Wayne Dyer What This Quote Means to Business: It is really easy to get stuck in a cycle of action, action, action in your business, constantly striving to do better and create a more successful business. And, […]
Thoughts are powerful things. What you think about today creates your reality tomorrow. The more positive your thoughts, the better your life will be. I hope I don’t need to tell you the opposite is true, too.
May 31 is What You Think Upon Grows Day … a day to spend in positive thoughts and gratitude for the abundance ever-present in our lives.
Positive thinking … and taking action with divine inspiration to bring those thoughts into manifestation … has been around a very long time. In researching this observance for today’s post, I found an interesting passage from the Bible. The source only gave me Philippians 4:8, so I had to dig out my old Bible and look it up. (I hadn’t cracked that book open in about a decade!) What I found pleasantly surprised me:
“Dismiss all anxiety from your minds. Present your needs to God in every form of prayer and in petitions full of gratitude. Then God’s own peace, which is beyond all understanding, will stand guard over your hearts and minds, in Christ Jesus.”
The advice is sound. Since what you think about expands, holding onto anxiety just brings on more anxiety inducing scenarios. Being a naturally anxious person, I can attest to that. Letting go of the anxiety and trusting that the Universe will provide takes practice. But I’ve accomplished it in the past, so I know I can do it again.
