What this quote means to entrepreneurial authors:
The only constant is change. At any given moment, the cells in your body are no more than a few days to weeks old. The body you have now, is no longer the body you had just last year.

If you’re doing things right, you are not the same person you were last February, either. You’ve learned things, grown and evolved.

So, too, must your business. The publishing industry is in a state of rapid flux as readers (and authors) are becoming more and more in control over what they can and choose to read, how they purchase what they read, how they consume what they read and more.

Entrepreneurial authors embrace that change and evolve with the times, growing their business to accommodate the needs of their audience.

What this quote means in business:
I have some good news and I have some bad news. The good news is your business will always be changing and evolving, if it is to survive and thrive. This means that as a creative entrepreneur, you’ll never get bored. Your business can — dare I say — must change with your creative flow and with the times.

The bad news is your business must always be changing and evolving. For if it doesn’t you will go out of business. Your clients’ needs will change and you will need to offer them different products and services that meet their new needs.

Does that mean that your business must completely change ever so often?
